Are Sky Programs (i.e. Game of Thrones) in English?

I'm considering signing up with Sky so I can watch Game of Thrones and future HBO shows, but I'm wondering if the HBO programs on Sky are in English or German? If the latter, is there an option to change the language to English? Thanks for your help!

For Sky Ticket there is a similar question about original version here Supernatural auf Englisch?  (German discussion). Basically yes you get German and original version (English). But it depends on the platform you use. Language selector is not available on all of them but on many. Which platform do you have or intent to use? Android/iOs/Windows/Mac...?

For regular Sky subscription (satellite, cable) I have no idea.

The HBO Shows run on Sky Atlantic HD and Yes you can switch to English thats not a problem

HBO programs are mostly on Sky Atlantic. Sky Atlantic is available as live stream via Sky Ticket. On the windows platform you don't have the language selector for the live stream. But the entire content is also available on demand. Language selector is always available for on demand content. So yes, you can watch the programs in English as long you watch them on demand (which is in my opinon the preffered way - content is available before it shows up on the live stream and longer for sure).

Oh, I'm so confused. I don't know what On Demand is. How does it work, how do I get it or "turn it on"?  Is On Demand included with Sky Ticket and is On Demand available for Windows PC? Do I need to buy anything physical (like a stick) in order to stream and/or watch programs On Demand?

On demand is like Netflix or Amazon. Watch your movies / series whenever you want. Livestream is live-viewing tv channels like Sky Atlantic, FOX, etc. Hope that makes it clear. You don't need anything (hardware, software) in addition for both.

You have 2 Options,you can Subscribe Sky ( this is the Big Version you get a TV Receiver with Linear TV Programs and On Demand like Netflix a built in Harddrive and Apps etc all in one) you can Quit your Subscribe only after a Time 12 or 24 Months.

The second Option is Sky Ticket here you have only On Demand (its like Netflix,watch with a App on Smartphone an PC and Samsung Smart TV)

Here you can Quit your Subscribe every Month,but you have only 720p and its very expensive,i dont like it.

Only TV Shows like Game of Thrones and Dokus are 9,99 Euro

If you wanne watch Movies over Sky Ticket its another 14,99 Euro

Together 25 Euro thats a lot.

The Big Sky Paket is the better choice,you get more for the same Price,but you are in a 12 or 24 Month Subscription,keep that in mind.

Okay, so from what you wrote, it sounds like the best option for me would be to sign up with the Big Sky Paket. I don't mind having to agree to a 12 or 24 month subscription. Do you have the video quality is with the Big Sky Paket? Is it better than just the 720p with Sky Ticket? Also, does the Big Sky Paket broadcast all HBO shows? And it allows me to change the language to English, correct?
