My Sky Q receiver goes down and then Sky Q reloads programs.This happens a few times per week.
Does anyone experiences this?

Hello @calif,
does the receiver restart automatically or do you have to do a reset? Sometimes the hard disk can cause this problem. Please remove the HDD from the receiver and check if the error still continues.

Thanks for the tip benni,
it loads automatically but I have to keep pushing the Q box on/off button for it to start again.
I'll give it a try.
BTW, my hard disk is new.Sky had just send me a new one.
As I mentioned, it only does it with the Sky F1 HD channel.

Hi Calif, do have an UK Sky receiver? Thsi Forum is for German Sky only (Sky DE Q box does not have a power button).

No, I have a German Q receiver. (I am American and unfortunately cannot write in German)
the on/off button I meant the button on my remote.

have you had time to test it without a hard drive? If so, does the problem occur without the hard drive?

No, I have not tried it without the HD, but will do so.
By the way, just this last week Sky send me a new H.drive.
hard to believe that this new one is defective.
It only happens on some Sky channels. Other ones like CNN, ARD/ZDF and others are okay and with those it never happens.

thank you for your feedback. The hard drive test should narrow down the problem a bit more. 🙂 Does this interference occur permanently on the channel Sky Formula 1 HD? Can you name other channels where the problem occurs?

It happens very frequently on the Sky sport F1 HD channel. 3~4 times per hour and yesterday 1 time on 3Sat HD.
a few weeks ago it did it also on some other Sky sport channels ( before I received a new hard disk)
